Wadoryu means speed, fluidity, tai sabaki. It's the style the karate kumite is based on. Can you post this video with its natural speed? It is not good to see it in replay mode:-)

This is terrible. No skill. Poor form. Even for prearranged idiotic one step sparring, this is bad.

I'm studying shotokan karate, but still... it's people like these that give karate a bad name... and these guys are in the same country as me...
Well anyway, the kata was poorly selected, if the timing is off DON'T use a kata with slow movements, it's harder to see mistakes when moving faster.
About the aplications/bunkai/whatever: because it is a demonstration you can go all out, why? Simple, you already know what you are doing, you have rehearsed it, right?

Its too weak and they are out of time in the kata. There doesnt seem to be any passion and feeling in it either. I know its a demonstration, but they should still go for it. If you get hit, then you havent block well enough. Or at least thats how I do, and i'm 16.
