Thanks for this excellent demo and information. This was one of the videos that I watched several times whilst trying to decide between the soapbar or humbucker versions of this guitar. In the end I went for the humbucker version in natural finish - but it was VERY useful to be able to compare your demo with those such as the one by J.Hayes. Thanks for taking the time to make this.

I own both the humbucker version and the SoapBar version, and the only thing I have against the SoapBar version is that standard soapbars are very sensitive to hum and buzz, (except in the middle position both pickups on) this is somewhat of a detriment if one uses high gain with the neck or bridge pickup alone. The clean tone of this guitar is spectacular, P-90's are just big , fat sounding single coils ......and yes you can always upgrade to some noiseless P-90's .(my choice) cheers
