Strange, I never noticed the related dates. The stabber's make-up might have just been a coincidence with the Joker's, but the fact that the attack took place on the anniversary of Ledger's death gives the connection more credibility.

Do a YouTube search for "attack at Belgium daycare" and then "toddlers stabbed to death in nursery attack", and, then you will understand what I am talking about.
Two toddlers and a woman were stabbed to death today by a man who came into a daycare with joker style paint on his face, wildly slashing them with his knife, before fleeing from the scene of the crime on a bicycle. Crazy days indeed!

It must have been extremely difficult for his sister's to do this in his honor. It is even more clear why he was the person he was...look how elegant and graceful his family is. I am looking forward to the oscars in hopes that Heath will win what he deserves, but even more towards the legacy his family, especially Matilda will have to hold onto. Bless Heath and all of his family and friends.
