BF3: how to kill a tank using enemy mines and dealing with repair engis

This is a video on how to use enemy mines against their own vehicles. Typically tanks use optic sights which allow them to see ENEMY MINES. This allows them to also see friendly mines on the screen and on their minimap. 99 percent of the time they will drive over their friendly mines. So what do you do? Camp out on a patch and one shot any vehicle in the game :)

Also in this video is tips on what to do and how to kill tank repair engis. They are extremely overpowered and must take priority over the tank. If you don't take out the repair engis you will not kill the tank without a ton of help. You can hope that your team flanks them, hits them with an rpg in a direct shot or get creative :)

HA! i always avoid the mines..even if they're friendly! unless scumbag teammates place it on the road i MUST go through to get past to the next flag..

@Rey123Duncan i only blow up the friendly ones where i play.... if it is the middle of nowhere leave em :) if it is on corner you are using as cover... blow em up

I hate the assholes on my team that blow up my mines for no reason, I even got killed by someone shooting my mines once

@charlesitup space them out and NEVER put them in a spot where your tank is gonna setup... might get him killed.

This is the precise reason I blow up all friendly mines where I'm operating while I'm in a tank.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I use my mines like C4. If you're close enough to the tank, place a couple mines next to it and chuck a grenade at them to blow them up and destroy the tank. Even if you're to the side of them so they can't back over you, you'll still get the kill. Works every time.

Yea, I know about this one, and whats even more fun, when you see a teammate putting C4 on an enemy vehicle, wait for him to get done, and as he moves away, fire an RPG at it. You'll get the Kill and destroy bonus, and they won't get anything...I do that a lot on purpose to my teammates, just because I totally believe that C4 is FUCKING cheap...LOL

All your techniques are absolutely brilliant, but some players aren't quick enough neither smart or they forget the tactics. I personally learned these by myself but I think everyone can do them too. I believe ppl think it's not realistic enough when there's these kinds of tactics IN BF3. (like this one)

@rivaLxfactor Thats what I do, I was putting them at the entrance to the tunnel on Damavand so that they wouldn't take our home flag, and he shot them while I was setting up and got me killed... and he blew up my other mines like 3 different times.

@armedbandit I do it all the time on the 360. It very likely works on PS3 too.
