@Cataclism31536 For over a year they had cameras on the bridge to try and document the issue. Unfortunately those who did jump, decided within a split second and it was too late to help. Essentially those cameras panned everyone but they noticed a pattern of those people showing up by themselves, sometimes jumped. Avg of 34 people jump per year, its almost impossible to call the authorities on every single person walking by themselves. Its a feeling of helplessness...

@darkmattersunshine The study that was done was initially a traffic study which yielded these videos. You have to understand that the split decision to jump, is made within seconds. Could you imagine calling the cops on every single person seen walking on the bridge alone? For those who had second thoughts, or were unsure about jumping and were hanging over the edge, the police WERE called, but its hard to determine those who are enjoying the view, and those who are looking for a place to die

because none of you understand the complexity of depression/anxiety. People are ignorant to the fact that no matter what happens in a depressed person's life, they will always have this shitty perspective no matter what. it's a disease. When someone is diagnosed with cancer, it doesn't matter how many people wanna help or love them. The cancers always gonna be there. it'll kill them. it's the same with depression. there's a certain point of no return. Once this happens all hope is lost, forever

If I ever kill myself I am definately going to jump off of something tall doing backflips whilst on fire, then people will be like "wooooooah what the fuck is that" and then when they hear the crunch and see the blood they will be like "oh" and then continue about their days as my ashes blacken the sky xD

@LegitimateBloxxer Depression isnt OCD... Its like living in a constant black cloud, you can't see a way out. You sort of lose reason for everything.. Things dont matter as much as they used to.
