  • beh abbiamo solo lo spartito fino ai 2:21... il meglio veniva dopo!

  • @Chriskaercher lol good luck...... your gunna need it

did it my 2nd year and FAILED!!! this year i can play it by memory....

  • I think I'm going to try for next year solo and ensemble...wish me luck...

  • @63skyman hes probably doodle tounging, using alternate positions and using natural partial breaks, but christian lindberg.....= amazing.....

  • @trombonemassa yep, sounds like Christian. I listened to a few Bousfield versions, and couldn't find this one anywhere.

  • how does one trombone move at such speed? Mind = Blown.

  • I liked watching along with this. Too bad only one page though :/

  • No second page?

  • i just died a bit on the inside o.o fucking amazing

  • @MrMertakhai just saying but thats something that you want to take a lot of time to practice, im only a freshman and im douing it my senior year, i want to get it as good as i can

  • When my trombone teacher first played this recording for me, I think I cried inside for two reasons: 1. Because it was so beautiful. 2. Because I knew that I would never be as good as Christian Lindberg.

  • Just bought this off freehandmusic and played through it a couple times (at a MUCH slower speed, haha), and I'm gonna work it up for Solo & Ensemble in February. It should be a great and enjoyable challenge :D

  • @medicineman1951 Yeah, more than the first page of music would be nice.

  • @KaraMayonakaSora This is one of the more well-known solo pieces for Trombone.

  • Grade 6 for solo and ensemble??? I don't understand :/

  • @Seaoh8492ed

According to the score, you can on a baritone BC.

  • Oh if we had only had you tube and the internet back in the late 1960s. What a training tool this would have been. I worked on this solo when I was a senior in high school. This would have really helped on some of the transitions. The only suggestion I would make on this video is that it would be nice to change to the next page of music when he reached the end of page one, so that if a person wanted to continue to follow the music then they could. But great posting I loved it, Thanks

  • @af2815 oh, the many time's i've done that..in fact, his illuminations album is on my ipod :]

  • @cj614 Listen to Joe playing this. Much better. watch?v=YH6lcElZr-k

  • @trombonemassa He does sound a tad brighter than usual...

  • @diezombie6 The Bourgeois Concerto (3rd Mvt.) is faster.

  • This is the first recording that I've heard when the player actually takes the 3rd movement this fast AND includes the octave lip slurs

  • Can I play this on euphonium....? Let's find out lol.

  • Trombone?

    What.

Actually, this makes more sense than a trombone trying to play Flight of the Bumblebee.

  • @dandimo12 how much does he charge you?
