Even if computer technology continues to double every 18 months—which is doubtful—we could put a chip in robots' brains to shut them off if they start to get murderous.

  • This guy is badass as fuck. I remember watching him on TV explain stuff, that would normally mind fuck the average person, like he was reading a child's book to you.

  • @Danigon5535 LOL I love breaking bad

  • What if they find a way to hack their own chip to attain their desire?

  • It's not robots that we should be worried about, it's cyborgs.

  • Who is this guy again? He never says his name on these things

  • The funny thought I had at the end of the video was "Planet of The Computer Apes."

But the idea I had was what about coating Graphene on to the computer chips. If the melting point is high enough not only would the chips be extremely hard to destroy (I allow possibility of destruction with everything) but also would not melt. Unless your computer can reach heats of 3,400 K and above. Just an idea, if anyone finds anything wrong with my theory please tell me.

  • @TheGamingHermit but if they were as smart as humans, they could probably find a way to create their own non-self-destructing replacement chip for the one that the humans created...

  • Murderous Toaster!!!

  • Haha, i would figure a way to cause them to start to get murderous thoughts.

Probabbly a set of phrases, or images, or data that induce thoughts that are identified as "murderous thoughts".

This would be amazing, think about the possibilities.

Maybe this chip will create lots of (undesired) interesting exploits.

"destroy any or anyone's machine with a few words"

  • @trotsky707 It's funny because your username is Trotsky.
