At the Tokyo International Gift Show, Datel Japan displayed a Health Control Game Timer for the Nintendo DS Lite.
The Health Control Game Timer is securely attached to the DS Lite so that it cannot be easily removed if the user wants to play longer than the allotted time limit, and is available now in Japan for ¥3,990.

  • finally, level 100, gotta save my progress back in town before the game timer shuts off my DS. Almost there! SO CLOSE! *shuts off* O_O NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • This little device is a good idea to stop kids playing too long, But what stops them from just rippin it out of the ds.

  • @cmcc212 If you listen, he says that is firmly held there so you cannot remove it, if you were going to go to measures of breaking it just to play longer, the parents would obviously find out and the child would be given punishment.

  • This thing has a lock, and can secure it to the DS and so they can't take it out without a special key. If you are interested in getting one do let me know.

  • what happens when a kid wants to play a gba game? like mario 3?
