  • I live in New Orleans. If you dnt believe me check my facebook. But i remember this so vividly. We were all in shock. People were looting and shooting. New Orleans was crumbling in front of me. I though the world was coming to an end. Poeple were commiting sucide in front of me. To everyone who says Katrina wasn't tht bad, they r lieing. Take from me, a Katrina surviver. Katrina was the most depressing part off my life.

  • GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

  • @dtanstaafl u know i'm sure u've had some arrogant RN's but u r in the same feild! it's like a solder & a sailor!ur both in the military u set aside EGO & u deal together!I have 2 friends who were both EMT's first then became RN's (1 a PA) don't discount this video with coments like that u sound like a true ingrate!YOU are a representitive of ur profession & they theirs & u both are working 2 save this lives of people!u on the short term until u turn over care 2the 1s who will do the long term!

  • When I first arrived in CA it was only months till "The Twins" hit!I wanted to GO!! RIGHT NOW!! I knew I had to run to LA because I had to be able to do something to help! But even my RN friend who'd been a RN for 30 yrs said they couldn't use him!So to stay put! but I know that the next time this happens,I'll be ready to go! I want to be this type of Nurse!this is the reason for me becoming a nurse!I WILL BE THERE!

  • Thank you each and every one. The words seem so lame considering all that you do. But thank you for being there for those who needed you the most!

  • I watched this video in my Allies Health Class 2yrs ago && LOVED it so much i juss had to find it && watch it all over again... This is the very reason i want to become a RN... One of the best rewards in life is the satisfaction that you have helped someone that was in need of help.... LOVE IT && I love those Nurses for what they did

  • Sounds like everyday for work for Paramedics and EMT's. I hope some of these nurses who went through this will be a little more understanding of what we go through in the field now and not get all huffy when we bring patients into the ER.

  • I wanna be a nuuuuuuuuuurse !!!

  • thnx! for the this video...
