Generally these will upload Friday afternoon but due to a wedding we attended over the weekend this episode was delayed...

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY : Poutine

Poutine is Canadian comfort food. It's typically made with french fries, gravy and cheese or if you're epic meal time- candy and caramel (carmel?). Our dishes were served with fries, a choice of meet, cheese curds, and gravy. Our verdict was though delicious, this was a little expensive... Fries for $8? And apparently it wasn't authentic... :(

Overall rating - 7

Meals for the day:

Fish - Chicken with chicken gravy and firehouse cheese curds
Ryan - Chicken with veggie gravy and firehouse cheese curds
Schro - Steak with beef gravy and firehouse cheese curds
Davis - Steak with beef gravy and normal cheese curds

No Bacon! ;(

God I love being Canadian hahahaha Poutine is DELICIOUS. I live across the street from a Poutinerie.

FYI Maple Syrup is made from sap.

Poutine should be Beef gravy, Cheese curds on fries.. nothing else... maybe add bacon, as bacon makes life better.

Yes, Quebec leaders are corrupt, but to be fair, corruption exists everywhere, not just in Quebec. My facts are based on reality. The federal government extends more money to Quebec in transfer payments than it receives. This makes Quebec lucky to be supported by the rest of the country. You may appreciate living in poverty, but I doubt most people would agree with you.

Our leader are corrupt like there's no tommorow, we have tons of ressources but we literaly GIVE THEM to big USA compagnies.

Your prediction is base on nothing, maybe you are lucky to be Canadian but i'm not, to each is own like you say ...

I would rather be poor in a poor country than be poor in a wealthy country.

We have to pay 2 taxes here in quebec other places only have 1 .

Plus energy cost an arm and food price is going to the roof.

I eat to much cheap noodles man its not luck ...

Also, it's not true that Ottawa takes Quebec's money and leaves it with crumbs. Quebec is a financially crippled province, which receives far more money in transfer payments from the federal government than it gives out. Without the money coming in from the rest of Canada, Quebec would be in worse shape, even more than it is now. We are lucky to have Canada's support.

As for poutine...yuck. I can't stand it, but to each his own. :)

Yeah but most people from quebec want to be separated from Canada and some think they cheated the vote when we lost 51% to 49%. Most of us will say that we come from Quebec not Canada.

We shouldn't be with Canada , Ottawa take all our money and mostly keep it for themselves, while we are left with the crumb

Anyways Poutine is awesome I just finished mine BUUUURRPP !!!

I like it with pepper gravy and some bacon ;)

It may not be good for health but its good for the moral ;P

Flavoured cheese curds...no...by the way, if you're in Toronto you can get Jerk Chicken Poutine which is god like, and I'm not religious.

Well, Quebec is part of Canada, so it's probably most correct to say poutine is French Canadian.
