wow for such a large group very little presence.. id score u guys in the 70s mid range tops.... ive seen much smaller groups with half the memeber such as a group by the name of victorvalley really bring this piece to life... basic literature though... descent group... prefer your wind ensemble though

No "Almighty Father?" Hmph.
Very tasteful medley.

my fav song, not in this vid, was the song that goes 3/4 3/8 back and forth

Touche' Honestly, I kinda regretted the post about a minute after I hit the button. I'll wish these kids the best but I still think their director should have thought a little longer and harder before attempting this.
These kids aren't bad but I really don't believe The Maestro had this in mind... The show that defined
American theater in the 1970s probably wasn't intended for a high school band in a virtually empty football stadium. You would do much better sticking to the theme from 'Rocky'. 'Mass' just doesn't work as a hacked up medley by high schoolers. Sorry, you discredit Bernstein and JFK.

Its just my opinion but music is to be enjoyed by all. If its a 4th grade choir concert and the kids cant carry a tune worth anything, a symphony concert where horns knock the high b's in beethoven 7.

music is not meant to be perfect. I used to be like you when I was a music major thinking all music had to be taken so seriously, so exact, that anyone who doesn't know that mahler had a hang-nail on his left pinky while composing his 5th symphony doesn't deserve to enjoy the piece. Open your ears...
