Metal Gear Solid 4 Midnight Release Virgin Megastore

I am a huge MGS fan and I was waiting years to play this game. When I heard that Hideo Kojima was going to be signing copies on the midnight release in New York I knew that I couldn't miss it. Equipped with a cooler full of goodies, a backpack filled with MGS paraphernalia, and the series' entire soundtrack playing throughout I waited on the line for eleven hours. Eventually I met the legend behind MGS and congratulated him on a series well-done. Sad to see it all come to an end, here is my MGS experience in the city. Enjoy!

xbox fucking sucks.its a letdown.i can say this cause i was a fan.i waited in line for halo,3 and played it.same with gears of war 2 and world at war.and also mgs4.the top titles of x360 werwe let downs.mgs4 is where its at

a big thing with this game not having the credit it deserves in america G4's X Play is so over ran by xbox live sponsorship just recently gears of war had its tv spot its lame as it gets when japan's finest of Konami, Hideo Kojima isn't given the hype he should for the release of this game of such inovation.

i agree with you. xplay is very much 360 driven. i cant believe that they didnt have an mgs4 special like when halo 3 came out? that was a load of bull shit!

yea, im with u. the hype was there and there were alot of ppl at the launch but tv didnt make a big deal out of it. the only thing i can think of is bcuz it is japanese. the japs probably had tons of tv spots and what not

when halo came out the commercials were out all the time they were on BK, there was a special gttv episode on halo 3 midnight launch and it was even on the news and for mgs 4 i didnt hear shit

im only thirteen years old and ive been a mgs fan for all my life and if i ever got to meet Hideo Kojima the man and the legend.....it would be the best day of my young life.
