Super cool of Rivera to do this...Tops were Gold, Canis, V30, and the Red Fang.

@imeddy yep

What about the clean tones?
-
my favourite is the scumnico, thick and full without piercing highs
-
that's the best example of how much a speaker affects your sound. such a wide range.

The upper mids of this speaker sound great in open/dampened spaces..but are really hard on the ears in enclosed environments...same with the Celestion Blue.The V30 doesn't sound too good for cleans either as those upper mids are not compressed like they are in this clip.

It's amazing how much different a V30 Sounds Mic'd than it does standing in front of it. It always sounds great form a Microphone Recording, but I seem to always yank them out of cabinets with my amps. Need to re-accees my speaker situations … I love greenbacks onstage, but the V30 does indeed sound great here.

V30 wins hands down imho.

Let's see....8 AlNiCo, 2 ceramic....hummm....that's ten. I think there were 4 ceramics.

Gold, M75, V30, all good.
