This is one of two video recordings I made of Morrison, Colorado on a very bright and clear Sunday afternoon in late winter.
I regularly make my way through this small hamlet of (It's about 5.5 miles/9 kilometres from my house or about 16 miles/26 kilometres southwest of downtown Denver) for a small hike that I conduct for exercise each week. Morrison is at an elevation of 5,800 feet/1,768 metres and has pretty clean air dispite its proximity to Denver!
Obviously cyclists love the area but you'll also notice, at about 00:30, two young women carrying athletic floor mats - they're heading back to the east entrance to town for some "bouldering" (practice climbing at no more than about 5 metres off the ground).
Anyway, Morrison is a lovely little town that attracts a lot of tourists, especially during the warmer months. In either of these videos you should be able to make out some of the business I pass each way as I transit town via Bear Creek Avenue (Colorado Highway 74/Morrison Road): Ozzi's ice cream, Willy's Buffalo Style Hot Wings, Morrison Jewelry, "El-Mercaso" Antiques, Morrison COuntry Store, High Moutain Hoopla, Cafe Prague, Morrison Inn, Sundance Sensations, Mill Stree Pizza & Subs, Morrison Car Works, Morrison Holiday Bar, Red Rocks Grill, and Morrison Liquors.
Okay, there are a lot more businesses than these but that's all I'm able to remember at the time of this upload! If you see others in this video don't hesitate to comment and I'll add 'em to the list!

Nevertheless, it's important that we always defer to pedestrians and HPVs (Human Powered Vehicles) - it's the wave of the future!
