There is a right and wrong ways to do Rope Bondage, the key consideration should be safety. I have seen some pretty shocking rope bondage in my time and I have seen some people get hurt. The one bit of advice I would give to anyone out there is learn the basics back to front and do not get hung up on the idea that you need to do a suspension right away. As cool as it might look I get far more pleasure out of floor work as you can play in a more relaxed way. Just have fun and be safe :)

I don’t think I would want to take lesson from her. The first things out of her mouth should be safety the second is safety the third is safety. After that law and how not to turn a game of bondage into 5 years in prison for person doing the restraining.

"There are limitations, but at least you can practice knots and some ties solo." or "Unfortunately for you, you really do need a partner to practice most ties." are both reasonable, albeit unelaborated, answers that come to mind and neither of them required being rude.

I never asked you to hold my hand. If all you have to offer is childish insults, why not leave my question for someone who wants to be helpful? Seems like a waste of both of our time.

@mazerrackham001 you're asking questions that you know can't be answered.. simply and purely, without somebody to practice on if you accept that you're unable to remember ties by simply going through the instructions and transferring that knowledge onto your partner... your only option is to tie yourself, OR blindfold her and be looking at step by step, printed/written up instructions that you've prepared. Seriously... I shouldn't have to hold your hand through figuring that out.

So how was she practicing these ties while watching TV? Or how does anyone else practice? Do they just have their partner chillin' out watching Parks and Recreation while going through rope drills or what?

I psyche myself out, a little, like the nice lady said, but I also want to try and surprise my wife with a new tie so how can I practice without giving everything away? There is only so much you can practice on yourself and I bet I'm not the only one who can't practice on a "friend".

Great introduction to tying knots. I just started my own 'kink channel' and am looking forward to producing vids that are informative like this one, yet try to add something else identifiable with my style of camera work. Maybe comedy, maybe some skin. Haven't decided. Maybe do both and see what the audience likes?
