  • The space down below will be about 9'-9'6" so good enough for a normal height vehicle.

  • There are only 4 x40 ft containers used - there is a gap, using height extenders between the bottom and top containers - Engineered floor and roof beams would span middle section supported by the bottom and top containers. There is NOT 3 containers in the middle portion. Still only a concept, will take some balls to build...?

  • @darealdjnutz I Understand, how ever it kills me when I see the US sending thousands and thousands to other countries when we have ALOT of homeless people here in our own country. When i see people going on how we need to help other countries I think we should help our friends and neighbors hear at home first.

  • @lldd11 Not necessarily, The containers are not Sealed shut, they have all the amenities any Masonry or Wood constructed home would have. AC / Window (ventilation and temperature control)

  • @AllAlaskan907 The US only sends these away when full of goods we're selling; we ought to be sending many more if we want to have a balance of trade and a better economy. We actually import in way more than we send out. Plenty are available for inexpensive purchase to be converted for habitation. But if we sent more of these out with manufactured good more would have jobs....

  • very nice design

  • the cost of all that glass would blow the budget & lack of cold insulation...strictly a west coast-type build.

  • @AllAlaskan907 they have endless possibility

  • Wonderful. It goes to show how poor most domestic architecture is. Modernism with the convenience of modern materials. Le Corbusier, Eames et el would be proud.

  • It should be an easy build. The biggest hurdle will be: State and local regulations, next door neighbors, building inspector.... Stuff like that. You can easily bolt the system together tethered to steel rods in the pas structure, and it will be quite hurricane proof. I say A+ on the look, and I would like to see a CAD of the interiors as imagined.

  • I loved it, but, Dogsbutt said, it'll take some balls to build... 0.o

  • that is awesome, but the wife said no ! haha

  • Great CAD work

  • That's kinda cool!
