My 237/242 Cam-Only VY II HSV Maloo running at the TDRA drag meet on February 20th 2010.

This was my final qualifying pass for the day before we launched into Dial In bracket racing after dinner. I had been trying all day to get the car back into the 11's and was struggling a little with poor traction. I had to raise the pressures in my Drag Radials up to 20psi which fixed the traction issue enough to drop the sixty foot time which helped pull the ET down. They were at 16psi which i found to be too low for these tyres.

I sucessfully qualified for the "Super Sedan" class (10.00 - 11.99et) bracket with this pass.

The ute was running pretty well but the 28 degree air temp on the day didn't help times much. Neither did my poor sixty foot times. This car has run quicker sixty footers than this in the past but the extra power compared to the previous bolt-on set-up is a little more difficult to put down. I run a 255/50R16 Mickey Thompson Drag Radial but they're about finished now...

This pass was one of four 11 second passes i managed on the day. Very happy with the performance so far from the pretty limited mods. And also the slightly mis-matched setup which is a little all over the show... but it is working, and now i just have to learn to drive it to it's full potential...

Thankyou for watching :)
