Sorry if THIS sounds harsh. But F*** YOU!! Taylor taught herself how to play the guitar and writes all of her own songs. She pours herself into what she loves and it is evident in everything she does. IF no one has ever told her "you aren't what we are looking for" it's because there is no reason for anyone to say that.

Have to disagree with one point you made, freak49. Everyone pays some sort of dues. Taylor may not have paid her dues as far as singing and being unnoticed for years and years before becoming famous; however, being so young, she has given up a personal life and all the normal things a teen does, like go to a prom etc. It was her choice, however, fame always comes with some sort of sacrifice...we just may not always see what it is.
