Joe DioGuardi, Conservative Party Nominee and GOP Candidate for U.S. Senate, has focused his campaign on the central issue for New Yorkers--job creation. During the second week of August, DioGuardi visited New York businesses from Binghamton to Plattsburgh--hearing the concerns of workers and entrepreneurs alike. While touring such industries, DioGuardi continued to observe that the challenges facing those in the private sector--rising taxes, poor infrastructure, and a brain drain on high-skilled workers--have created a toxic environment for business in New York. As a U.S. Senator, DioGuardi would work to make New York a more welcoming state to business through cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Joe will be the Republican nominee running against appointed Democratic Senator, Kirsten Gillibrand.
@teapartymalik I completely agree! It's great to see Joe working at the grassroots level and getting to know the people who are the backbone of the great state of New York. Joe takes a genuine interest in the issues that are central to the lives of all New Yorkers and offers honest solutions and real ideas for reform. While Gillibrand just sits back and lets her money do the talking, Joe is making a true impact at the heart of the community.

I really admire DioGuardi's effort to get to the real people, the working class of this state. It shows that he's willing to put his money where his mouth is and do something about our decaying infrastructure and jobs leaving the state.
