Fucking gay. Kind of funny, but in a sad way. I love MMA but I also know it wouldn't exist without traditional arts. @stopcommunistmedia so u mmean to say that buakaw, cung le, andy hug, liu hailong, machida, all are a joke. well dude u wanna why asian martial arts became a joke its cause the westerners took it and turned it into a product. now people think they can learn a martial art by training 10 minutes per day. well they cant and when they lose a fight they blame the art. but the truth is its not the art its the students fault. just search human weapon karate or kung fu and u will see how intense it is.

I think the proper term is the United States of America, don't they educate you in your nation? Much of Asian Martial arts is a joke, that brainwashed people waste their money on with the exception of a few. Especially Chinese martial arts are complete and utter garbage. Many of the best professional MMA fighters come from the United States, South America and Europe not Asia....Some of the best martial artists are Grapplers and Kick-boxers.

@heavyironmusic I use to think that too. Than I saw a shalion monks demonstrate while attending a seminar in Atlantic city, back when I still practiced and believed in traditional styles. These were real monks from China, didn't speak a word of English. And they did the exact same shit Americans do. Their technique was a tad better, but ultimately it came down to the same principles, which are outdated and useless in a real fight. A bad idea is a bad idea no matter how proficient you are at it
