part 2 of 2

this is our full trip to Seaside Regional Center for the Mentally Retarded formally know as Seaside Sanatorium, and Seaside Geriatric Hospital. This is a huge property located on the beach in Waterford, CT. It is located on right off of Shore Road on the beach. It opened as a State Tuberculosis center as most asylums and sanitariums did, in 1919 until 1958. it is very easy to visit and get into this beautiful building. it is well worth the trip, it took me about an hour and 15 minutes to get there. after visiting, you can play on the abandoned play scape and sit on the properties beach. for further questions send me a comment or a private message, thanks.

  • dude how did you guys get in? me and my friends went last night at like 3 am and could not find any way in all the doors were bolted and shit and then security started rolling around so we hopped in a bush around back and then there were three clear knocks on the window behind us and we booked the fuck out of there lol it seems like itd be better to go during the day though

  • @dooshrocket if your at like the beach looking at the building with the playscape in front of it you go to the left of the playscape area and there is a ramp that goes up. theres a metal fence which is really easy to hop. and theres a huge door open. thats how we get in every time. ive always went during the day its easy as hell to go there actually

  • @dooshrocket you gotta get lucky and go a day when theres no security guard there tho. ive been 5 times and only once was a security guard there so we just walked around it and left

  • you guys shoulda went in the tower

  • @SOPR4NOS we couldnt figure out how to get into the big center tower but we went in the like circular smaller towers on the sides

  • @ABcommics My Mother in Law's brother actually lived at Seaside in the 50's, he had tuberculosis. She said the round turrets on the sides were actually fire escape slides. Could you see that? Seaside has haunted me for years and I am consistently drawn to this place time and time again. The sense of EVIL is definitely afoot. Was there a morgue that you were aware of? On the lower floor?

  • @parisol78 yes i could see how those spiral things are fire escapes, there was stairs in the middle of them we got into one of them. it makes scense since theyre is 2 of them on the opposite sides. i am not aware that there is a morgue. i have been through all levels multiple times, like 4 or 5, including the basement, and have yet 2 find one. this was a relatively small mental hospital for its time compared to norwich state hospital so im not sure that they had one or not. hope i helped
