  • Some snakes need UVB! Not this snake, But there are some... Like the Rough green snake.

  • Pet stores love taking advantage of idiots and selling expensive, unnecessary UVB bulbs. Snakes are primarily nocturnal, and the ones that are diurnal hide for a large portion of the day.

  • @MrRavekid Nocturnal snakes come out in the day... I don't think saying most of them won't see the sun is correct.. But I agree this guy is full of crap..

  • snakes. are nocturnal most of them will never see the sun in the wild, ur just a buisness man selling people stuff they don't need.

  • Ohh petco, well excuse me god knows petco is the expert on reptiles

  • Common enough for petco to have a care sheet for them..

  • well yougo ahead and find a video on how to care for a rough green snake and I will do reaserch on it and if the reaserch matches the video i will agree with it. and really how common are the rough green snakes...

  • Some snakes are diurnal, But yes this snake is nocturnal and does not benefit from UVB.

Also, The coil UVB bulbs put out high amounts of UVB, and can harm your animal... The tubes are better.

  • Thats true my teacher is a snake expert...she dosen't have any uvb lights for her snake...and she has had the snake for a long time.
