  • She has so much patience! She is just wonderful

  • After 18 Kids she's seen it all and knows that spanking doesn't work but lots of love and kindness does wonders. I have triplets and they tag team on me and I've come to realize that this is the only parenting approach that actually works. They don't hear you when you yell but when you speak softly to them they will listen (9 times out of 10 :))

  • @icemom09 Why is she wonderful? Because she has had more children than her body can tolerate? That she is promoting a view of women as being purely baby makers with no other life. I don't think she is just wonderful, or at least I don't assume she is.

  • johannah's face at 1:20 cracks me up!

  • @icemom09 She has patience when the cameras are there! Don't think for one minute she never shouts at her children.

  • This has to be one of the creepiest families on TV right now. From what I have seen in the show, there is no conflict whatsoever, and their calmness and happiness almost comes across as fake. They're just plain weird.

  • @Wallylex Yes it is "a" kid. Isn't it???? Sorry if that is wrong grammer. English is not my mothertongue. I am here because I like watching the Duggars. Even when I think they lie in every word they say and brainwash their children!

    THIS IS MY OPINION!!!!!

And you do not know me at all! I love kids and they love me. So how can you know my view?! Just because I used the wring article?????!!!

  • I think spanking does work...it worked on me, and I totally agree that yelling isn't the way to do it too, its not effective, it's just scary, SO in conclusion I think speaking softly AND spanking would possibly work wonders :)

  • @AmongTheDispersed ...the discussion you've had with Robo1415 is another good example. This is a video about the Duggars and concerning Michelle's parenting techniques and only this.

Where did the topic of the LGBT community come from? :/

It's just...things like that make me wonder if the fight for gay tolerance is sort of pushing it a lot of the times.

  • @AmongTheDispersed ...old, abandoned sneakers he found at a park "Gay as hell", it wouldn't be that long until there's literally a crowd of people around him, scolding him for "bashing gays" and labeling him as "homophobic". I'm not even joking or exaggerating about this.

It gets to the point where people even try to tell you what words you can or can't use in your speech, and literally tell you how to talk to others. Which to me is crossing a line, in a way.

    Or better yet...

  • @dweeper1020 ...I honestly feel that Robo1415 has a point; nowadays tolerance towards the LGBT community has been essential. And I'll fully agree, this is a great move in the right track :) But I do think that a lot of Gay Rights supporters and...well gay people themselves are taking this too far. One wouldn't be able to disagree with homosexuality without immediately being branded "Hater" or "Homophobe".

If I were to see a 12-year-old boy on a street call a pair of old...

  • Wow I would get very frustrated if that was me but somehow she just keeps her voice down and has patience with the kids
