Northern LIghts: A Tribute to Al Limberg.

The completion of this song was inspired by the passing of my dear friend Al Limberg. Sometimes words can't express what your soul is urging you to get out. I had been toying around with bits and pieces of a song for a while and kept running into a wall, getting stuck; but soon after Al left us, I found some similar patterns that lent themselves to complete what I was trying to say. I didn't plan it this way, but that's the way it worked out. Songs sometimes depend upon the Muse and I believe that Al sent one in direction. The night Al died, the sky lit up in a display of Aurora Borealis that we seldom witness in our neck of the planet. In keeping with a Snowbound Sound theme, I'm calling this song Northern Lights and I will embrace Al's spirit every time I play it.
