Video and images of the first hawksbill (Camila) equipped with a satellite tag during the second tagging campaign in El Salvador. Measuring 87 cm (CCL), Camila was encountered on July 13th 2009 at El Amor beach, within the Los Cóbanos Marine Protected Area, along the countrys western coast.

The tagging event was a joint effort between NOAAs (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Southwest Fisheries Science Center, FUNZEL (Zoological Foundation of El Salvador), ICMARES (Marine Sciences Institute of the University of El Salvador), MARN (Salvadoran Ministry of the Environment), FUNDARRECIFE (Los Cóbanos Reef Foundation) and ICAPO (Eastern Pacific Hawksbill Initiative).
