1980 Sheryl Franks / Mike Botticelli - Olympics LP

Sheryl and Mike were an outstandingly athletic pair. Both were accomplished singles skaters, and someone thought to put them together. A good idea, because they ended up as Olympians. This dynamic program has a lot of exciting moments....I especially like the slow beginning!! A lot of lifts and content. Note the pair spin combination, unusual for the period (I still don't know how he avoided getting his head smacked!!), the Militano forward/backward spiral, and I stand in awe of anyone who can master a double axel entry into a death spiral!! They skated a first rate program here.

Mike was an especially gregarious person, and they were both, very well liked by all.....skaters and fans alike!!

Sheryl was my coach back when I skated competitively. Now i'm coaching along side of her and I'm so proud to have been her pupil! Do you have anymore videos of her and Michael?
