Testing DIY PICSTEP CNC router electronics and stepper motors @ 20800 steps/revolution. Using a micro g-code sample for test.

* (3) DIY PICSTEP custom stepper drivers @ 3A each. 1/8" micro-stepping. Wired bi-polar parallel.
* (1) DIY PMinMO 4 axis break-out board
* (1) DIY 12v PC fan controller w/ (2) 12v PC fans
* (1) Japanese 36vcd/9.8A power supply custom - pushing -/+50VCD
* (60) Cups of coffee
* (3) Packs of Marlboro's
* and a hand full of Tylenol and a slightly pissed off wife ;)

  • In this video I am using a Kcam trial. I will use Mach3 when complete but Kcam was much easier to setup for testing..IMO.

    I found some samples of Gcode on a few websites. I will be using Rihnocam + some others at some point. I think?

  • Which Software u are using to generate the "G code" . Im searching for a solution who is simply to "programming". Milling i do always with MACH3...
