Happily Drooling

When Tuesday is happy & feeling good she tends to drool due to the fact she has no teeth except in the front!! She is such a sweet baby!!

My baby Tuesday has chronic asthma. She started out with an inhaler using a chamber. Then she had to go to a nebulizer. Now we are back to her inhalers (albuterol & flovent) & only use the nebulizer when it's real bad. She was also diagnosed with early stages of kidney failure on 3/13/07. Sub-q fluids was not necessary till 4/23/08. Tuesday is aprox 17-18 yrs old. She is the love of my life...

My Siamese, Toby, drools too. He has all of his teeth. He just started doing this in the past year. He is 13 years old I think. Should I be concerned?

Your poor baby. She has been through it, eh? I saw your nebulizer video. She sits and takes that well. She probably knows it helps her breathe better. I'm sending positive thoughts out into the universe for your precious little kitty.

I know with Tuesday before she had her teeth pulled she had a lot of tartar build up on the back teeth. And she couldn't close her mouth all the way because they were tender & sore, so she would drool. LOL but now she drools when she is happy and purring and I think it is also because she can't close her mouth all the way with no teeth!! Has toby had his teeth looked at. Sometimes around that age that tartar starts to build, its worth checking into!
