For years, illegal poachers have roamed the waters of South East Asia in search of endangered turtles. If caught, the traders face hefty fines or even time in jail. But conservationists are calling for more action. They say unless local laws are properly enforced, the ancient species could disappear altogether. Laura Kyle reports.

Stupid people. It always infuriates me to see these kind of things. I always wonder if there is a place in hell for the ignorant or those who purposely seek profits over the existence of a species.

This is terrible the only affective way to stop this is through awareness. Never purchase endangered species, and help educate people, especially those who don't care.
