After 81 hands and a few hours of unofficial final table play, the 2011 WSOP Main Event November Nine is set. After laying low at the final table for the first couple hours of action, John Hewitt decided to get in the mix, but his involvement would have unfortunate consequences. Hewitt was eliminated in 10th place at the hands of Eoghan O'Dea, while the remaining players started bagging and tagging their chips and embarking on the three month adventure that comes with being a WSOP November Niner. Before we take a look at some of the last hands of the night, take a gander at the list of nine names you will soon be very familiar with.
Here are the chip counts and seat assignments for the official final table of the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event, including chip leader Martin Staszko, short stack Sam Holden, and online poker pros turned WSOP headliners, Ben Lamb and Phil Collins:

@moctezuma2008 exactly bc of lambs aggressiveness his check on the turn should ring alarm bells. it was a good card for a bluff.
i may not be as good a poker player as lamb but i have a better colour tshirt.

@SolemnHiddenCove it is ok to play marginal hands when u have position over your opponent and you are heads up against him. of course, you need to have a pretty good idea of your opponent's hand range. lamb has cashed 4 wsop tournaments this year one in 1st and another in 2nd place. yeah there is some luck involved, but a lot of it is outplaying your opponents, especially in tournaments. he is a sick player u really have to give him credit for that.

@nguyenimproved lol just because of your stupid comment I can tell u have never played a wsop tournament. it is very standard to bet the flop on lambs position since he raised pre-flop. Lamb is a very aggresive player and he could easily try to steal the BB. The flop, although there were two kings, was very dry and unlikely to hit one of the opponents. u can't put lamb on a king just like that. Ion lost the minimum and u r no better than any player at this table.

@disciple90633 lon is a fuckin moron.
i coulda put lamb on a king when he checked the turn...hoping perhaps the czech hit the Ace and would lead out
(feasible since the czech hung around on that flop and called pre-flop he'd have an ace)
"you were absolutely right Antonio!"
after ae ruled out a king in lambs range...
FAIL FAIL FAIL for lon

LOL, A.E. says "you can take a King out of Lambs range". Then when Lamb shows a King, Lon says "You got that exactly right!!!". Get some sleep Lon. Or at least a couple Red Bulls up in ya.
