I had only one good warm day (42 degrees) to fix my wifes computer chair, so I took advantage of the good weather to fix it.
This type of work can't be done in the house.
The casters kept falling off and the bushings and the wood leg holes were all worn out.
So I made a redneck type repair.
All is needed is some stain which I will do inside, that I can do without making a mess.

  • great job bill!! again, reusing good old things and building them up!! i love your vids!!! people don't want to be bothered with doing something with their mind and hands. i have a 1967 massey- ferguson garden tractor that i bought in peices, and rebuilt it from the ground up. i have some land here, and can't aford a new one. but, i would't want a new one cause they are junk!! just like my tube radios!! thanks so much for showing people what's it like to have common sence!!! ed

  • Hi Ed, Thank You very much, I appreciate it.

I could never understand why anyone would throw out something that can be fixed.

That old tractor is made better than what you can buy today, it is most likely made in the USA.

If you bought a new one it would be made in China.

  • Solid as a rock!

  • Hi Jgant2008, Thats for sure, it never made sence to me why people throw good stuff away when most of the time all these things need is a small repair.
