they differ in dialect, culture, custom, norms and life style/ distinct in nature but same in God.. hope ive answered your question.. moro is a tribe, same with maranao, also taosog.. etc...

AbdulBasit Imam is a Mranao.Mranao in general are Moro.We have to ask HIM personally if he also renounced his identity as Moro, but i guess, Pilipino by nationality as evidence by his document but His heart remain as a Moro, Allahualam. Mranao who renounces being Moro is a PILIPINO-Mranao, who love Philippines and didnot recognize the identity of Moro as nation maybe because of their economic status as happy under the Philippine state.
