If this professor is correct that the ice volume on Antarctica would raise sea levels 240 feet then even slight melting would increase the sea enough to wipe out many agricultural resources. They open up discussing a less than 5ft rise and it's effects then it gets hard to understand what they are saying or not saying.

This is a good example of deliberate confusion or "educated" guesses by talk show celebrities who are out of the real "loop" and wish the warming would slow. Solar minimums are high radiation and light cycles, sun spots actually cool the surface of sun not make it activly heat intensive. You shade a halogen with a metal screen it diffuses heat much like a black or dark spot on sun's surface does.
