@purestr99109 It's because the U.S. record companies control everything here, and they're too busy promoting Lady Gaga and crap like that to promote anything good. Only reason I know about Korpiklaani is because a fellow Nightwish fan mentioned them. And I just had to fly across the country to see Nightwish and Amorphis play.

@purestr99109 here in Italy only a 10% of the people listen to rock or metal..still, we are very lucky because there are many many live shows by great bands (just think about Dream Theater, Nightwish, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, Epica, and so on, that come in Italy at least one time during a tour). The problem (I think) is that "european metal" tends to be a little too closed in this continent..and that's a shame indeed
