Una scelta non nuova ma comunque ardita: Bruce Springsteen ha deciso di regalare ai suoi fan alcune canzoni dell'album, il ventiquattresimo della sua carriera, che uscirà in Italia il 27 gennaio 2009. Il perché lo racconta lui stesso in una lettera ai suoi amici nella home page del suo sito ufficiale. Il disco, che si intitola Working on a Dream (come la canzone che dedicò a Barack Obama), contiene 12 canzoni più bonus track. Le canzoni che si trovano su YouTube e comunque in internet sono Working on a Dream, My Lucky Day, The Wrestler e Life Itself. La lista potrebbe salire a cinque con A night with Jersey Devil. Ma non si escludono altri bei regali. D'altra parte è il Boss!
