  • actually few things: i've tried mac cleanser n it kinda sux....i had someone suggest i use - 1 part olive oil with 1 part 'disinfecting' dishwashing liquid on a plate....n then swirl ur brushes, then rinse out...omg it blows mac's brush cleanser out of the water!!!

next...when ur drying the wet brushes, u shud put them upside down with bristles at the bottom of a cup, so that water drains OUT.

  • @desig1rl sorry mac cleanser doesnt work for you.

  • I used dish soap and olive oil. It found it to be better than my mac brush cleanser. :/ The brushes would actually dry softer than when I used mac.

  • @CFHWolfe thank you so much :)

  • @allydarkness86 You let it dry. If you let it stay wet, it will ruin the bristles and dissolve the glue holding the bristles in. Smaller brushes only take half an hour or so. A large brush (like a foundation or blush brush) will probably need to be left out overnight... I usually do all my brushes in the evening, then they're ready in the morning to be used again.

  • hi, so after I clean a brush, do I need to let it out to dry or can I just put it back in my brush pouch right away ?

  • I realised that I have to clean my brushes after I got rashes on my face. Ewww... gross! but, no more!

  • I love your hair!

  • @desig1rl mac brush cleanser is good. but i reccommend baby shampoo for a cheaper alternative

  • @desig1rl you got that from Michelle phan!!! haha i love that video
