This was an ACA rendezvous - I'll be adding details.
Right now I'm using a Canon HV30 (tape based for best compression). Small enough to take in canyons, but big enough to get great pictures. Absolutely add a wide angle (Century) for canyons, and for stability. Also I use a GoProHD for the helmutcam shots.

Nice video. I did a similar route with Desert Highlites a couple of years ago. Amazing!. What is your camera equipment of choice?
