The Death of Emmett Till (APUSH)

A rather sub-par video I did for an AP US history project. I used the song "The Death of Emmett Till" by Bob Dylan, and the pictures are from various internet sources. However, even I don't feel that this WMM project does his story any justice whatsoever.

The subtitles go by extremely quickly, and I picked a very dumb font in which to write them. The video as a whole would have been more effective if, one, I got everything to LINE UP (stupid Movie Maker) and, two, if I had been more careful with the subtitles.

When his body was pulled from the river in 1955, his autopsy report said, "the crown of his head was just crushed out... and a piece of his skull just fell out."

He was a black-skinned boy, so he was born to die.

This video was made as an end-of-the-year project when we basically had nothing else to do, because AP exam was already said and done. I can assure you that the course was intensive and that this was a break at the end of the year.

Nor am I. Everyone else was doing Eve of Destruction, Ohio, War... I think I'm the only person that did their project to this song.

She didn't want to keep it, but I couldn't have done terribly on it.
