Looking back you can see that I had real clarity about what was coming but it only came after many years of thinking about the data I had been looking at and listening to other people, then drawing some conclusions about the picture that was forming in my head. The prblem is often those who condemn evil are the very ones who perpetrate it. We cannot live without a moral code that all people can appeal to. Kant the German philospher talked about moral law. I'd agree. The only way it seems that we can recover--in my opinion--is if we start a new currency backed by gold and silver. Then we might be okay and have something more than fiat money.

Fair enough. The dollar is losing value, this is proven. I would say now it is a matter of planning an escape route when is all comes down. Id give the US another 5-6 years of "crisis" before things get out of control. You agree?

Well, with the devaluing of the US dollar to worthless paper, which leads to hyperinflation, and has been proven by history, by both Zimbabwe and Germany, that is a big indicator that something really bad is now turning into a full fledged huricane on steroids, don't mind the analogy there.

I have researched political views and economic downturns of the past, and we are a crisis for sure, but there is no proof that things will destruct and burn. There is a chance that the economy will recover and this will be just another recession. You can look all bummed out like this guy and stick your head in the sand, but no one knows for sure if this storm is going to progress into a hurricane or die out. only time will tell

So poor you cant afford food. Remember, you may not have much money but if your dollar only buys 1/100th of what it buys right now you dont eat, have electricity or the internet because it will cost too much.
