Sound of silence by Zenny LucideZ

One of my initial recording ideas combining several styles using typical features from both. I wrote both halves of this song, preformed, recorded and (with the most basic amount of work done) produced it all in 5 hours. I originally started by making the bass riff from the second half then thought I'd just carry on writing on all the instruments available as i had a whole studio to myself for the afternoon. the first half i wrote and recorded today (20/04/2010) from sitting at a piano messing around with poly-tonality and modulation on the piano for a BTEC music unit. the whole thing was done in around 5 hours total working time from start to finish (that explains the bad quality many mistakes timing errors and minimal producing etc) as i just recorded it to save the ideas for later use. the photographs used are all mine taken throughout my development in photography from various times and shoots. starting from when i first began to ones taken about a week ago, just so as you'd have something to look at while you listened to the conceptual piece i have posted here
