I built one and would get air pockets in the corners... crappy sears vacuum. I see it looks like you have a slight issue with that as well.
Rather then fork out $ for a new vacuum I would use my 10$ hear gun and touch up some parts. Also drill holes in your negative if your able to with out killing the detail.

@John2daextreme: There are far better tutorials out there.. besides if I did that I'd have to postpone what I'm working on right now! Google TK 560 Vacuumformer, James Enger has plenty of tutorials and videos if you want them.
