@billybassman21 not true at all. The Nike in Portland even had leftovers after all of the madness was done. Just depends on which store you go to. 5 pairs per size at maybe a little foot locker in the mall. But not at other stores. Nike Portland must have had at least 50 of each size. At least...
@wdharvey1 you make a very good point. these 2011 are made to be beat to the ground. which is why it is dumb for anybody to pay out of their ass for these just to beat them to hell. I only collect DS OGs. I copped a bunch of 2011 concords but I probably won't keep one of them...even have 4 of them signed by Tinker. The quality on them is straight trash though. Disgrace imo....
get them online i got my babymamas then there n my 4 years old there for cheaper on amazon.com i was standing in line for about 13 hours for those we had a celebration to all my homies who got em
@wdharvey1 continued: my parents would only buy em if I was in the honor roll. Now that I'm older and Nike re-releases classics I redeem myself. Not for status symbol but purely nostalgia and the fact that till this day being 34 yrs old I still love Nike sneakers. I even collect vintage never worn Nikes. It's like imagine if Ford re-releases the classic 65 Mustang I'm sure there would be a huge fan base.
@wdharvey1 I can't speak for everyone that collect shoes however reason why I love certain types of shoes, primarily Nikes/ Jordans all stems down from when I was a kid in the mid 80's. I was a Michael Jordan fan 1st before I liking his shoes. I'm sure you heard the term "if I could be like mike" well yea. Aside from that I always thought Nike designed awesome shoes.. I thought the visible air bubble was amazing!! Obviously I couldn't afford them at the time and my parents would only buy em if
You seem to have documented your experience quite well...thank you. Also looks like the crowd there had decent behavior. BUT: WHY do people collect shoes? Do they ever wear them, or are they sitting on a shelf in your living room/museum on display? Is it Status? What? I get collecting shoes, dolls, beanie-babies, books, records, model cars...but items of clothing right off the shelf? I don't get it.. Please explain it to me. I couldn't be any more serious in my question.
@The33134helena. so why is it that you won't buy his merchandise???? is it because he left with a white woman?

Stupid shoes made by poor kids in sweet shops. You all should be proud.
