@toughpinoy No way in hell does that mean the person is communist. I think the person means that there is no middle ground with american politics. People who vote for parties may want one extreme from the other. Whereas here, at least for me, I look for a leader that is more central (not too left, not too right). Liberals with a spine and canadian conservatives with a heart.

American politics is what i poke holes at as a Canadian... A two party system will always fail simply because it creates an "us vs. them" mentality... Left versus right, liberal versus conservative, pro racism versus anti racism. Multiple parties allow for mutliple ideas equalling less chance of idiotic or ever changing policies.
