Khardarstev was 29 (b 1965) at this match, hardly an old man. if you know your combat sports bernard hopkins is in his 40s and still going strong. carl froch is 32. just to name a couple of professional fighters older than khadartsev. there are many MMA athletes who are as old or older as well. All props to Khadartsev who is one of my all time favorite athletes, but Khadem was the better fighter that day.
