RIchard's such a wonderful and amazing composer/singer. I read that Karen was scheduled to record this song but then she died. Sing it for Karen, both this lady, who's done a beautiful job and Dusty SPringfield, may she rest in Peace with Karen.

Claire's phrasing on the lyrics is actually better than Dusty's was. She enunciates and expresses the words more clearly. (Of course, Karen's version would have been the ultimate, but it wasn't meant to be.) Is this song a hit in Claire's country?

@jedc143 Yes I agree, the song is so lovely that I have been playing it over and over again too! I came across this song by accident when searching for Karen Carpenter songs.To me she doesnt really sound like Karen, perhaps she did more so when she was younger? But it doesnt matter because she has a lovely voice in her own right.
