  • How much H did this guy do back in the 90's? That CD with sex and candy sure had quite a few songs dedicated to the drug/needle "Wave motion gun" and the opium poppy plant in "Poppies"...

  • @rgcomedyz

Agreed, I think Woz is one of the best lyricists ever.

  • Check the url for this song. It has "JOY" written innit.

    Obviously.

  • @tandbergj Yaaah, I guess I overreacted on my initial statement. Stairway is just such a well known ditty, when I hear a song that is in the exact same key with an extremely similar progression, at almost the same tempo, it sticks out like a sore thumb. I love the song though! don't get me wrong...If he would have tuned down his guitar a half step I probably would have never noticed. Sensitive to pitch/key/octave -- it just shares more similarities beyond a descending chromatic bass note imo

  • @aaaaaaaaadrian dude a minor chord with a descending chromatic bass note, i.e. Am, Am/G, Am/F#, Am/F, E has been around a lot longer than led zeppelin. It is just a classic motif i guess. Maybe that's what your saying too and we are just agreeing, but yeah..

  • exactly like the album version pure genius

  • Wow.. I haven't been listening to marcy playground very long. I downloaded one of their albums and I love every song on it. But this video really shows how great of a singer John Wozniak is. Makes me an even bigger fan. There is a touch of the blues in their music. I love that!

  • i don't care what anyone says this is better than the studio version

  • Woz you the man.

  • does anybody know on the first riff what other strings he is hitting. I got the just of it with the one 5th string but he seems to be hitting more than one string.
