An Annual festival in Estes Park, Colorado.....this was the first time the Ottawa Pipe Band has performed at the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival

Just to clarify who all was playing here:

This band is called the Combined Ontario Police Services (C.O.P.S.), consisting of band members from Ottawa Police, Toronto Police, Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. It was put together specifically for the Estes Park event and it was the first event that this combined band had played anywhere.

Thanks for that clarification...I knew we heard that it was the band's first time in the Estes Park Festival

Um ... no it wasn't the first time we've performed at the festival. We first appeared, by ourselves (without the combined Police Bands) back in the early 80's with our dancers. And had a great time. It's the first time the RCMP Pipes and Drums have appeared however.

I enjoyed listening to the C.O.P.S play over the weekend when I was able to sneak away from the dog unit for a while.

@cshea lol ... probably no one from 'back in the day' is around anymore ... or able to remember, but we had a great time with some absolutely wonderful people. I'm sure you'll see this configuration (C.O.P.S.) back again.
