A practice ride in preparation for the Big Ride.
Le Tour d'Argent, The 25th Anniversary of the Paris to Hayling ride organised by the Association for Charitable Endeavours.
About 60 riders set off from "The Ship" at Langstone, Hayling Island. Destination Salisbury, stay over night at the Red Lion Hotel and then ride home the next day.
It was unusually hot weather this year, which is good practice for France in July.
Special thanks to Pete McQuade, Paul Fisher, Fred Dyer, Lyn Harris and all the commitee for making these events possible. What a fun time....see you all again soon.
And an extra, extra special thanks to you guys in the broom truck who deliver our bags to the hotel....luxury, we are spoilt and it is very much appreciated.
this year I am riding to support my local hospice "the Rowans",
I have a justgiving page

  • I can relate to this. Looks like my kind of ride. No nasty hills or stinging nettles.
