Hi James, I relate to this 100%. Would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Doctors here in Australia are no different. I have had ME for 4 years and they wanted to put me in a psych unit and give me antipsychotics. What morons. Turns out I have a cardiac condition and a pacemaker has helped me a lot this year. I am so f''n angry at my dickhead doctors I want to make a stand - well a movie actually. I have uploaded a trailer using stop motion and my S.T.A.B. M.E. characters "get it lol" -Sarah V

@StabMeBSdesigns Your work was impressive. I meant to say. I would do much more if I was well but making these things takes it out of me. Everything takes it out of me. In pain all the while making every video I have made. Annoying burning pain.

@jamesclackton Thank you, I love yours, it would have taken some time to complete, and they turned out well :) some medications do indeed make it worse, do not be afraid to tell the dickheads you don't want them. Doctors have a God complex and think they can do whatever they want, and it is so wrong. Are you able to seek a second opinion?? Sorry for the late reply!

@StabMeBSdesigns I've had many opinions from many doctors now. Most people think and I'm talking about 999 people out of every 1000 some sort of bizarre explanation for what is wrong. Very few people say 'you have an illness of some sort it's not your fault'.

@jamesclackton Yeah it's very true, I for one have never heard it =] It isn't your fault at all, you cannot will it to happen. It makes no sense why doctors just don't get that. It is great you are making these videos, it is raising awareness :)

So true. Amazing that a concept (somatization) with no scientific basis or logical rationale is given so much causative weight. They might as well state that green fairies cause ME/CFS.

On my god! If I had to put up with that, I'd probably storm out there never to return.. wait... that's exactly what we have done xD haha

Luckily I was young, so I didn't have to fight for myself., my mother fought the doctors for me. She cna be quite scary when she wants to be.
