whoa! not all beekeepers heat their stainless steel drums. We use the stainless steel drum, but do not wire it for heat....please don't make a generalization like that. Not all beekeepers (or honey) are created equal!

Hi, nice video short! I do collect my own honey and never use heat in my separator.. those are great points about the heating and it isn't necessary for proper extraction, just speeds things up and I'm happy to wait. Also, one issue with RAW Honey, is the amount of filtering... I recommend only large, not fine, filters. People who want the health benefit, specifically with allergy issues, should have the tiny particles of pollen still IN the honey they purchase. As with anything BUY LOCAL (">
